The most magical place on the road

It was that time of year! Disney on Ice was at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, from February 20 to 23, 2025. I went with my friend Carlie from SICTC and had a bawl. Normally, you would think Disney on Ice is for kids, which is the stereotypical way we humans put it. Although there were many kids at this event, and Carlie and I were among the few teenagers there, I would say that Disney on Ice is for everyone.

After the show was over, Carlie and I were talking about how overjoyed my inner child was. I feel like when we get older, we lose all of the joys and happiness in the little stuff in life and that shouldn't be the case.

Being at Disney on Ice, I was able to sing along with all of the little children and not be judged. From seeing The Lion King, Micky Mouse, and The Little Mermaid, I was filled with warmth and love. The last time I was at Disney on Ice was when I was about 6 years old and even though I do not remember a majority of the stuff that happened, I remember having a wonderful time. Being in those seats made me have flashbacks from where I was sitting when I was 6, to what I was wearing, and looking at my mom all excited.

Even though growing up sucks, I realized always enjoy the little things in life. Even though There was a princess that I didn’t know, I knew I was growing up. I looked around the arena seeing all of these little girls in their princess outfits knowing I wished I could go back to their age.

Carlie and I talked about our experience on the way home on how our time was and we both agreed that more teenagers and adults should come to Disney on Ice. Disney on Ice is not just for kids, it is for everyone. As Disney’s motto is always to bring happiness to millions and that is what they did and continue to do.
