Spring Break for high schoolers here in the 812 is right around the corner and I wanna know what’s the best destination for spring break. In this blog, I will be interviewing a couple of my fellow 90.7 WPSR Student Employees. I will ask them some simple questions about their spring break plans and try to determine the most popular vacation destinations within 812.
I’ll start out with DJ Soop, for spring break he said he is traveling to Florida with one of his friends more specifically, Saint George Island. Soop informed me he’s never been there before but he’s super excited. But he also tells me that his dream spring break is a week-long hiking trip with friends on the West Coast, specifically Oregon. So this is what I will consider as his vote and in this blog, it’s gonna be sand vs. mountains.
That currently makes it 1-0 mountains but up next is DJ Goody. She says she doesn’t currently have any plans set in stone except for a potential Nashville trip with friends. But, Her dream spring break includes going to the beaches in Mexico. That will be one point for the beaches after this round.
Next up the final DJ is DJ Barbie Princess, He informs me he is going to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with friends. He says he’s excited to spend time in the mountains with friends and chilling in the hot tub. He also says that this is pretty close to a dream spring break for him as he loves the mountains and would pick a trip to the rocky mountains over any beach.
And with that vote, DJ Barbie Princess caps off the votes and it looks like based on our DJ's opinions the best spring break is a week in the mountains over a nice sandy beach. But the real best spring break is when you just enjoy your time off. It doesn't matter if you go to the beach or the mountains or stay home as long as you enjoy yourself and your company, that's all that matters. I hope that everyone reading this has an amazing spring break and enjoys it to the fullest, I'm DJ Chop with 90.7 WPSR.
