All lane closures are expected to last through late April, depending on the weather.
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces daily lane closures for U.S. 41 in Vanderburgh County.
Beginning on or around Thursday, February 20, crews will begin daily lane closures on southbound U.S. 41 in Evansville. These daily lane closures will occur at various locations between Morgan Avenue and Virginia Street.
These daily lane closures will allow for concrete pouring for median reconstruction. Lane closures will be set up and taken down each day and are dependent on the weather.
The southbound driving lane of U.S. 41 will also be closed at Diamond Avenue. The length of this closure is approximately 1,000 feet in length. This portion of the closure will allow for pavement removal and replacement.
All lane closures are expected to last through late April, depending on the weather.
These lane closures are all part of a larger reconstruction project to U.S. 41 from Diamond Avenue to The Lloyd Expressway.
