The Indiana Department of Transportation announces ramp and lane closures for I-69 in Vanderburgh County.
Beginning on or around Monday, October 7, ramp and lane closures will begin on I-69 in Evansville. Lane closures will occur on northbound I-69 from Morgan Avenue to Olmstead Road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in this area. The Lynch Road on-ramp to northbound I-69 will also close.
Ramp and lane closures will allow for continued concrete patching work to occur. Work on the Lynch Road on-ramp is expected to take a week to complete. Lane closures are expected to take two weeks to complete. Both project are dependent on weather conditions.
Motorists using Lynch Road should use southbound I-69 and the Morgan Avenue interchange to access I-69 northbound as the official detour for this project. Both projects are part of a larger project to improve I-69 in Vanderburgh County.
