The Purdue Extension Service of Vanderburgh County will be holding the 34th Annual Ag Days program virtually to continue to provide education to youth across Vanderburgh County.

The Ag Days program was designed to bring Vanderburgh County 4th grade students out for a day in a rural setting, to learn about how their food is produced. Since COVID-19 restrictions did not allow in-person education, Purdue Extension recruited 4-H members to create 13 videos about agriculture. Schools that signed up to participate will be receiving an Ag Days kit complete with experiments, worksheets, and quizzes to complement the video series. Topics include animal by-products, beef cattle, dairy cattle, dairy by-products, goats, grains, horse & pony, llamas, poultry, rabbits, sheep, swine, and tractor.
Anyone can take part in this engaging, educational series created by 4-H members, future leaders in agriculture. All videos are housed on the Purdue Extension – Vanderburgh County YouTube channel. A complete list of each video
