The Public Education Foundation and Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation are pleased to announce the 33rd annual Summer Musical: CINDERELLA to be presented July 15 - 18, 2021 in the Aiken Theatre at Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville.
The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. The story concerns a young woman forced into a life of servitude by her cruel stepmother and self-centered stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a Princess and finds her Prince. The show’s memorable songs include “In My Own Little Corner,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” “Stepsisters’ Lament,” “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful?,” “Me, Who Am I” and “The Prince Is Giving a Ball.”
