Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, is hosting the 2023 Evansville MORE THAN PINK Walk on Sunday, October 1 at Bosse Field in Evansville. The Walk is Susan G. Komen’s annual fundraising event where family and friends celebrate breast cancer survivors and honor those who have passed away from the disease.
The Walk will raise critical funds that support research and critical support services for breast cancer patients, including navigation services. Breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic disease can enjoy a light lunch and visit other survivors in Hope Village. The Walk site and activities open at 1:00 PM. The Opening Ceremony starts at 2:30 PM with the Parade of Hope taking place shortly after.
Sponsors for the event include Bank of America, Walgreens, Evansville Surgical Associates, Old National Bank, and Ascension St. Vincent. Walk participants will include breast cancer survivors, those living with metastatic breast cancer, co-survivors, and supporters of Susan G. Komen.
