Temporary closure of Lloyd Expressway planned near Stockwell Road

Evening westbound closure anticipated to last up to 20 minutes

On the evening of Monday, March 17, a temporary traffic stoppage is expected on westbound lanes of the Lloyd Expressway just east of Stockwell Road for overhead sign removal. Construction activities are expected to begin following the evening rush hour between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Work should be complete, and the roadway reopened to traffic within 20 minutes.

Lloyd4U crews will stage just off the roadway, stop westbound traffic and remove an existing overhead sign over the Lloyd Expressway.

Westbound motorists can expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes Monday evening. Stay up to date on the latest project news by visiting TheLloyd4U.com. For the latest traffic updates, follow TheLloyd4U on Facebook and , and check INDOT's TrafficWise map at 511in.org.
